Partner of PTP Group UK entity GreenTech Corporation Ltd. negotiates with STF-Aicha (Germany) the purchase of the washing line (capacity 2.5 ton/h) capable of processing bottles available in England with higher contamination ratio.

PTP Group initiated the process of the registration of the monomers used in PET-M recycling project in accordance to REACH law by European Commission.

“TNO Quality of Life” submits the petition to FDA for obtaining Letter of no Objection for PET-M recycling project by PTP Group. PTP Group successfully defends its USA patent application in Patent Hearings in United States Patent and Trademark Office.

November, 2010

The project GreenTech Corporation Ltd. successfully passes the due diligence performed by Deloitte Touche and gets approval and financing guarantees from London Waste Recycling board. BKG equipped the NCT90 extruder from MAS Austria with new screen changer and underwater pelletizing line. This upgrade increased the pelletizing capacity of PTP Group by 30%.

October, 2010

PTP Group expands the geography for input material supply by entering the Slovakian market of post-consumer PET bottles. PTP Group is present at the K-Show 2010 to explore the actual inventions in the plastic recycling industry.

August, 2010

PTP Group intensifies its activities in the field of HDPE recycling. The capacity of the recycled HDPE in the range products grows 300 ton per month.

The challenge test was completed in collaboration with STF Aicha. The representatives of “TNO Quality of Life” were monitoring all the steps of the test. The results are expected in coming months.

PTP Group in cooperation with “TNO Quality of Life” started the execution of the surrogate contamination challenge test according to the new FDA protocol. Contamination of the flakes was started in the facilities of “TNO Quality of Life” in Zeist (NL).

UK partner company of PTP Group - GreenTech Corporation Ltd. starts talks with London Waste Recycling Board regarding the issue of supporting the recycling plant project in London which will be utilizing PET-M recycling technology. The planned capacity of the project is 12.000 ton of the final product (PET-M resin) per year.

The Investment fund TGH Invest expressed the interest in participating in PTP Group recycling project in California. PTP Group’s George Dadiani is nominated as the speaker for the North American Plastics Recycling Conference – the key event in the recycling industry in North America.

PTP Group negotiates with the laboratory “TNO Quality of Life” the cooperation regarding the execution of the test aimed for confirming the results achieved by Fraunhofer institute. Also “TNO Quality of Life” will submit to EFSA for approval the dossier of PET-M recycling process according to the new regulation. In addition “TNO Quality of Life” will execute the new surrogate contamination challenge test according to the protocol of FDA (USA) for submission for FDA Letter of no Objection.

Canadian subsidiary of PTP Group – Plastic Innovative Technologies Canada receives LNO (Letter of no objection) from Ministry of Health of Canada for PET-M recycling process. This is the first letter of no objection for PTP recycling process.

August, 2009

PTP Group is restructuring its division in Canada. A new company, Plastic Innovative Technologies Canada (PITC), is established. The mission of the company is to start a production plant in Canada with capacity of 20 000 Mt per year. The production start is preliminary scheduled for May 2010.

July, 2009

PTP Group signs an order confirmation with MAS Austria for the NCT extruder 1500 kg/h production capacity for the production plant in Jilove u Prahy (CZ).

PTP Group Americas gives a second presentation to the Conservation Department of the State of California. The grant program is frozen due to the lack of funds however project gets the support for federal grant program.

PTP Group completes the test run of a recently invented conical co-rotating extruder NCT series at MAS Austria facilities. The results exceed expectations. PTP is planning to incorporate this technology into PET-M production process.

PTP Group negotiates with Fraunhofer Institute the conditions of a new surrogate contamination challenge test in order to confirm the compliance of PET-M technology with EFSA requirements.

PTP plant in Neratovice (CZ) starts operations with the new STF washing line. The quality of the flakes is the best in Czech Republic. The line is fully automated. PTP becomes the largest food grade rPET producer in Czech Republic.

PTP Group signs a contract with STF-Aicha for the 2 Mt/hour output washing line. Plastic Technologies & Products s.r.o. with gives the presentation at the technical committee of PETCORE and obtains a PETCORE membership. PTP becomes a recognized PET recycler and PET resin producer.

PTP Group Americas gives presentation at the Conservation Department of the State of California. The project for a PET-M production plant with capacity of 13000 Mt per year was accepted by the State of California as the nominee for the grant awarding program. Dr. Alex Delnik of PTP Group Americas is participating as the speaker at the North American Plastic Recycling Conference in a PET recycling session together with key competitors. The presentation clearly shows the economic advantages of PET-M technology.

Bottles made of PET-M successfully pass the overall migration test performed by TNO Quality of Life (the Netherlands).

November, 2007

PTP Group, with bottle made of 100% PET-M resin, wins the Grand Prix “Packaging of the Year” from Packaging Association of Czech Republic. PTP Group successfully performs production scale tests of PET-M resin for fibre application in Italy, expanding the possible applications of the material and technology itself.

PTP Group’s team presents PET-M resin and Modification technology at the “K 2007” fair in Dusseldorf, Germany, running its own stand. The interest shown by the visitors to our stand was enormous.

First production use of PET-M resin for thermoforming application in UK. Clients are satisfied. First 10 tons of PET-M resin delivered for the production scale test for strapping application in Germany. Results are expected in December 2007.

June, 2007

PTP Group performs the tests of PET-M material for thermoforming applications together with Fraunhofer Institute Freising, Germany. The results clearly indicate that PET-M can be used for the production of thermoformed packaging in blend with virgin PET and also up to 100% PET-M.

PTP Group gives presentation at the Department of Conservation of the State of California and applies for the Grant Program for Beverage Container Recycling project. This project is aimed to the first Bottle-to-Bottle recycling project in California.

The first presentation at the global conference of the Modification Technology will be given by PTP Group, at NOVA-PACK EUROPE 2006, The 21st International Conference on PET Containers in Food & Beverages (Prague, Czech Republic) on 2-3 October 2006. This will be a late addition to the half-day session on Recycling of PET Containers.
